Bilingual mortgage application platform
We built a bilingual mortgage application platform where brokers and applicants complete applications together in real time, with Canadian debt-service calculations, what-if scenarios, subscription billing, exports and integrations that push applications into brokers' existing origination systems.
Problem
The client needed a modern, bilingual tool for brokers and applicants to complete mortgage applications together, calculate borrowing capacity and push applications into the brokers' existing origination systems.
Solution
The team delivered a multi-step application flow with multiple applicants, incomes, liabilities and properties in simple and advanced modes; debt-service and loan-to-value calculations with a maximum-borrowing pre-approval; a real-time collaboration mode mirroring broker and applicant screens with field highlighting, scroll sync and auto-save; branching scenarios; card subscriptions with webhook-driven role upgrades and emailed licence agreements; CSV and PDF exports; cloud-drive file APIs; an admin panel with sorting and filtering; and integrations pushing applications to two mortgage origination systems using each broker's own credentials. Changes shipped through separate development and production servers.
