Tile Trails
Privacy Policy
Effective date:
The short version
Tile Trails ("the app") is published by Devflovv. The app is a native Android triple-tile matching puzzle game that plays fully offline, with 100 levels across 15 destinations and a daily puzzle. We collect no personal information and no usage data.
- We collect no data, and the app sends none to us or to anyone else.
- No account, no login, no sign-in.
- No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking, no purchases.
- No internet permission.
- Your progress is stored by the app on your device. If you use Android device backup, Android may include it in your own backup.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal or usage data, and we never receive your progress or your settings. It contains no advertising, analytics or crash reporting software development kits (SDKs), and no other third-party code that collects data.
Permissions
The app does not request the internet permission, so the app itself cannot connect to any server, ours or anyone else's.
It declares two permissions for its own features:
- Vibration (VIBRATE), for haptic feedback when you play. You can turn it off in Settings.
- Network state (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE), which lets the app see whether your device is connected. It is used only to show an "offline" notice on the screens that describe planned online features. It does not let the app connect to the internet, and the app makes no network connection.
What is stored on your device, and why
To keep your game going, the app saves the following in its private storage on your device, in an app database and app preferences. None of it is sent to us.
- Your game progress: levels completed, stars, coins, boosters, your tile collection, unlocked tile themes and achievements.
- Your statistics.
- Your settings, such as haptic feedback.
Android device backup
The app has no internet permission, so it never backs anything up itself. Android, however, may include the app's saved data in your own device backup, depending on your device's backup settings and your Google account.
If such a backup is restored, for example after you reinstall the app or set up a new phone, your progress and settings can return.
Whether this happens, and where a backup is kept, depends on your device settings and your backup service. We never receive your backup and cannot view or delete it. Your backup provider, such as Google, handles it under its own privacy policy.
Daily puzzle
The daily puzzle uses only your device's date to decide which puzzle to show. Nothing is fetched from a server.
Future online features
Some screens describe online features, such as clubs, tournaments and leaderboards, that may come in a later version. They are labelled as future features and are not active. They do not connect to anything, and nothing about you is sent or received. If a later version adds online features, this policy will be updated before they go live.
Sharing and selling
We do not share, sell, rent or trade any data, because we do not collect any.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising networks, analytics services or crash reporting services. If you install the app from Google Play, Google handles the download and updates under Google's own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed specifically at children, and it collects no personal data from anyone, children included. The game has no chat, no user-generated content and no way to contact other players. Because nothing is collected, there is no personal information about a child for us to hold, review or delete.
How to delete your data
You can remove the app's data from your device at any time:
- Use "Reset progress" in the app's Settings. This erases your saved progress from the device and starts the game again from the beginning. It cannot be undone.
- Uninstall the app to delete all of its data from your device.
Copies in a backup
Neither step above removes a copy already held in your device backup, and we cannot remove it for you. To delete one, use the backup settings on your device or in your Google account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
